Anna M. Klobucka

É professora no Departamento de Português da Universidade de Massachusetts Dartmouth (EUA), onde leciona principalmente literatura portuguesa e literaturas africanas em língua portuguesa. É autora de O Formato Mulher: A Emergência da Autoria Feminina na Poesia Portuguesa (Angelus Novus, 2009) e Mariana Alcoforado: Formação de um Mito Cultural (IN-CM, 2006; ed. original Bucknell University Press, 2000). Co-organizou também, com Helena Kaufman, After the Revolution: Twenty Years of Portuguese Literature 1974-1994 (Bucknell, 1997); com Mark Sabine, O Corpo em Pessoa: Corporalidade, Género, Sexualidade (Assírio & Alvim, 2010); e, com Hilary Owen, Gender, Empire, and Postcolony: Luso-Afro-Brazilian Intersections (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014). É co-editora da revista Portuguese Literary and Cultural Studies e editora da Adamastor Book Series (Tagus Press, UMass Dartmouth).

 

Is Professor of Portuguese and Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She is the author of The Portuguese Nun: Formation of a National Myth (2000; Portuguese translation 2006) and O Formato Mulher: A Emergência da Autoria Feminina na Poesia Portuguesa (2009), and co-editor of After the Revolution: Twenty Years of Portuguese Literature 1974-1994 (1997), Embodying Pessoa: Corporeality, Gender, Sexuality (2007; Portuguese edition 2010), and Gender, Empire and Postcolony: Luso-Afro-Brazilian Intersections (2014). She currently serves as coeditor of the journal Portuguese Literary and Cultural Studies and as editor of the Adamastor Book Series (both published by UMass Dartmouth’s Tagus Press/Center for Portuguese Studies and Culture).
